Ending a Session

Quest Complete

When all tickets have been estimated (completed or skipped), a Quest Complete dialog appears automatically. The moderator sees a REVIEW TICKETS button to proceed to the session recap.

Manually Ending a Session

The moderator can end the session early by clicking the End Session button in the session controls (desktop). This closes the session and marks it as inactive.

Caution

Ending a session is irreversible. All players will lose access to the live session. Make sure all needed estimates are finalized before ending.

Session Recap

After the session ends, all participants can view the Session Recap page at /session/{code}/recap. The recap includes:

• A summary of all tickets with their final estimates
• Per-group estimate breakdowns
• Individual votes for each ticket
• Option to export as CSV

Session Retention

Sessions are automatically cleaned up by the system:

• Active sessions with no player heartbeat for 6 hours are marked inactive
• Inactive sessions older than 8 hours are permanently deleted along with all associated data (players, tickets, votes)

There is no way to recover a session after it has been purged. Export the CSV before the session expires if you need the data.
